One of our most popular afternoon tea experiences, Harrod’s afternoon tea is served in the elegant surrounds of The Georgian Restaurant, sumptuously designed by renowned interior designer Christopher Guy Harrison. Utilising his fine skill and craftsmanship he has designed the Georgian Restaurant to reflect the by-gone era of the 1920s and 1930s. The room effortlessly blends modernism and classicism to create a welcoming dining ambiance for guests.
What could be better for a gorgeous day out than the perfect combination of retail therapy, in one of the UK’s most esteemed stores with a classic afternoon tea in an opulent but classical English tea room.
Harrods Afternoon Tea Menu
Afternoon tea at Harrods is beautifully presented on an eye-catching, tiered cake stand. Seasonal finger cut sandwiches and delicate savouries are accompanied by melt in the mouth pastries along with freshly baked scones served with clotted cream, strawberry jam and homemade lemon curd. You’ll also be able to select your choice of unlimited tea from a range of Harrods’ own blends.
Dress Code for Afternoon Tea
Worth mentioning is the required dress code for afternoon tea. Ladies and gentlemen are requested to wear smart casual attire and the management reserves the right to refuse entry to any person deemed to be dressed inappropriately. Specifically the Dress code does not permit: sports shoes and trainers, wearing high-cut, Bermuda or beach shorts; swimwear; athletic singlets; cycling shorts; flip flops or thong sandals; with a bare midriff or bare feet; or wearing dirty or unkempt clothing. Please note that fancy dress, novelty and branded or promotional clothing is not permitted.
